These Terms of Use apply to the websites, franchise matching quiz, member resources and other online services (the "Services") provided by Premier Franchise Consulting, LLC d/b/a Kickstart My Franchise ("Kickstart My Franchise," "we," "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
What we do
Kickstart My Franchise is a franchise consulting service. We help people learn about franchise ownership and introduce them to franchise opportunities. Our services are free to you. We are compensated by franchisors when a client we introduce purchases a franchise.
Not an offer to sell a franchise
Nothing on the Services is an offer to sell a franchise. An offer can only be made through a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) provided by the franchisor, in compliance with federal and state law. Some states require registration of franchises before they can be offered or sold in that state.
Quiz results and match scores
Quiz results and match scores are preliminary. They are based only on the answers you provide and general information about each brand, and they are not a recommendation to buy any franchise. Brand availability depends on territory, franchisor approval and other factors that can change.
No earnings claims, no guarantees
We do not make earnings claims on behalf of any franchisor and do not guarantee any level of revenue, profit or success. Any financial performance information must come from the franchisor's FDD (Item 19), if provided.
Investment risk and your own due diligence
Franchise investments involve risk, including the possibility of losing your entire investment. You are responsible for your own decisions. Before investing, you should review the FDD carefully, speak with current and former franchisees, and consult your own attorney, accountant and financial advisor. We are not attorneys, accountants or financial advisors, and nothing on the Services is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice.
Information on the Services
We try to keep brand information, investment ranges and other details accurate, but they come from franchisors and other sources and may be incomplete, out of date or changed without notice. Brand names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners, and their display does not imply endorsement.
Calls, emails and text messages
By submitting your contact information, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email and text message about your inquiry, appointments and franchise opportunities, including through automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Member area
If you receive access to our member area, keep your login private and do not share or resell member content. We may suspend access if these terms are violated.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Services, including by submitting false information, interfering with the site, scraping content, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose.
Our content
The text, design, graphics, videos and other materials on the Services belong to us or our licensors. You may view them for your personal use but may not copy, distribute or create derivative works without our permission.
Links to other sites
The Services may link to franchisor websites, scheduling tools and other third-party services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kickstart My Franchise and its owners, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or investment, arising from your use of the Services or any franchise decision you make.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Services means you accept the updated terms.
